Happy Friday~ Valentine DIY

I know Mommy Dearest! No Wire Hangers!
But maybe this can be the exception to the rule?
On occasion I forget to recycle my hangers back to the dry cleaners and so with the few ones I had on hand I decided to create some personalized paper covered hangers using salvaged book pages, ribbon trim, slightly stained vintage circular doilies and sparkly bits that I have collected.

It's fairly easy to cover each hanger in your choice of paper (I used an old playbook of "A Midsummer's Night Dream" that was water damaged) and add decor of your choice.
These shabby, pretty pink ones have already gone to market, but the paired down simple rustic one with just the brown paper is more my style so I will be making more of these as I naturally accrue hangers.
Tip... glue pens work great here, and double sided tape, but not glue sticks and really not hot glue gun! These make really beautiful 20 minute gifts for friends who have pretty things to hang on display, also a great gift for Spring brides to give their bridesmaids!
